What Is Therapeutic Astrology?
I am a Certified Astrologer with Rising Woman. In 2020, I apprenticed with Andrea Dupuis, and now teach in Rising Woman’s Mystic Astrology Program. I offer personal Readings with clients in Canada and around the world.
Therapeutic Astrology is a blend of astrology, psychology and spirituality, delivered in a trauma-informed way. It is grounded, practical and focused on process, rather than prediction.
The deeper purpose in Therapeutic Astrology is greater self understanding, self acceptance, validation and guidance.
Therapeutic Astrology can assist us in times of transition and change, helping us to transform, persevere, and feel more connected and supported.
Therapeutic Astrology emphasizes choice, self compassion and free will, and is always approached through a trauma-sensitive lens. The focus being on process, rather than prediction, and how to evolve into the higher energies of the planets and signs.
A process focus helps us go beyond viewing planetary placements as good or bad. Each planet and sign is understood as a part of us, and every transit and aspect as an opportunity for growth and integration.
If you are a new client, the Natal or Birth Chart is where we begin. The Natal Chart is a unique blueprint, a karmic roadmap, a space that we inhabit. It can help us better understand our gifts, challenges, and lessons, our purpose and our destiny. We get to choose how we live it. During the Reading, we will uncover the meaning of the natal planets in the signs, the houses and aspects, and how to best work with them. We will explore the important, current transits, and what parts of our lives want to grow and expand.
Natal Chart Readings are 90 minutes via Zoom and include an audio recording of our session. Birth information with an accurate birth time is provided upon booking. Cost is $250 + HST.
For returning clients, our time together can be used to revisit themes and questions from the previous Reading, and to explore the energies for the coming months and year. These Readings are 60 minutes via Zoom with an audio recording of our session. Cost is $215 + HST.
