What Is Therapeutic Astrology?
In 2020, I had the good fortune to apprentice and become a Certified Astrologer through Rising Woman. I now teach in Rising Woman’s Mystic Astrology Program and offer personal readings with clients in Canada and around the world.
Therapeutic Astrology is a blend of astrology, psychology and spirituality, delivered in a trauma-informed way. It is grounded, practical and focused on process, rather than prediction.
The deeper purpose in Therapeutic Astrology is greater self understanding, self acceptance, validation and guidance.
Therapeutic Astrology can assist us in times of transition and change, helping us to transform, persevere, and feel more connected and supported.
Therapeutic Astrology emphasizes choice, self compassion and free will, and is always approached through a trauma-sensitive lens. The focus being on process, rather than prediction, and how to evolve into the higher energies of the planets and signs.
A process focus helps us go beyond viewing planetary placements as good or bad. Each planet and sign is understood as an archetype or part of us, and every transit and aspect as an opportunity for growth and integration.
For first time clients, a 90 minute deep dive through the Natal Chart, a personal roadmap that reveals the shape, purpose and direction of your life. During the reading, we will map out the chart and walk through the houses to understand the patterns, the lessons, and how to live into the highest potential of your unique chart. We will explore timing and transits to understand what areas of your life want to grow and expand. Readings are via Zoom and include an audio recording. Birth information with an accurate birth time is provided during Intake. Cost is $280 paid upon booking.
For returning clients, our time together can be used to revisit themes from the previous session, and to go deeper into the coming months and year(s). 60 minutes via Zoom with an audio recording. Cost is $220 paid upon booking.
Relationship reading for new or returning clients. Explore your relationship with a significant other, friend, business partner or family member. Learn how your charts interact and impact one another, where the gifts and growing edges are and how you are to help each other evolve. 90 minutes via Zoom with an audio recording of the session. Cost is $300 paid upon booking.
